60 Minutes Exposes “Fake News”

It took everything in my power not to laugh convulsively. 60 Minutes given the task to run this pathetic attempt at shuttering platforms who pose an existential threat to their hoary, concretized and otiose anachronism called TV news. But herein I will address these issues.

•What is fake news?
•What is news?
•The threat to journalism and free speech.
•When does parody and satire weigh in?
•Pizzagate and 9/11 loose cannons.
•Libel and slander in a post-Sullivan world.
•The existential threat to MSM.
•Trump’s genius in co-opting the term.
•The Internet is the target.
•Clawback and genie back in to the bottle.
•Ted Koppel and Hannity: Ted’s dénouement.
•CIA and Operation Mockingbird: the reference.

CBS 60 Minutes Produces Contradictory and Hilarious Expose Report on Fake News (REACTION)

CBS 60 Minutes produced a hilarious and very contradictory news report about fake news and it’s widespread implications. Scott Pelley began the piece by saying fake news existed on the right and on the left as a way to make it appear to be non-partisan. But in reality, the story was a thinly veiled hit-piece on Donald Trump and conservatism in general. Near the beginning of the 13 minute story, Pelley says that Trump uses the term “fake news” to speak out against stories that he does not like. How does Scott Pelley know why he uses the term? Hillary Clinton was the one who actually coined the phrase during and/or shortly after the campaign, but she was not mentioned as a fake news peddler at all in the piece.

Scott Pelley then interviewed Mike Cernovich, a well-known center-right leaning blogger. Cernovich has the type of appearance and voice that would be distrusting to the average leftist. Scott Pelley asked him fair questions, but the way contrast between Pelley and Cernovich in addition to the setting made it easy to write off Cernovich. As the story continued, 60 Minutes showed a few “fake news” websites. Websites with “fake” news from the left and right were both shown, but there was bias in the websites shown. The more conservative-leaning websites featuring “fake” stories about the left seemed much more professional and believable than the liberal-leaning websites featuring “fake” news stories about the right. It seems as if the point was to downplay the severity of “fake news” on the left.

Pizza-gate was mentioned towards the beginning as a “fake news” story that had real world and dangerous implications but, again, nothing was mentioned of “fake news” stories from the left that had real world and dangerous implications. Many people were assaulted and harassed at Trump rallies by leftists due to salacious headlines from the left. Stories of racism and hate about the right are routinely overblown then presented to the masses as real by the mainstream media and people ingest that information as gospel. No mention of public retractions and apologies from the mainstream media were mentioned in this story. Only very small websites with a decent following were talked about and it was a left-leaning production. It seems like the “fake news” story was “fake news” itself.

Fake News with a Real Point: Nurses Supporting Fast Food Workers Wage Increase to $15/Hour, 93% of Nurses to Benefit

By Doktor Schnabel - May 8, 2015

SILVER SPRING, MD – The American Nurses Association (ANA) made a shocking announcement today: Over 93% of Nurses would benefit from a new proposal to increase the minimum wage of fast food employees to $15/hour, if they can convince legislators be included in this leading group.

fast food wage increase

“We believe that enough evidence now exists to push legislation forward for nurses to be included in this group,” vowed ANA president, Pam Cipriano.  “These days there are lots of similarities between fast food employees and nurses.  Both serve and prepare food.  Both work early in the morning and late at night.  Both cater to hungry patrons.  Both take orders, refill drinks, and clean tables.  Nurses should be compensated just as much as our fast food employees.”

“Nursing school is nothing compared to McDonald’s Burger School,” stated RN Robert Wakers, with emphasis on RN standing for Refreshments and Narcotics.  “Those guys work their butts off and the amount of studying to pass their Fry exam makes our tests look like amateur hour.  But, I’m really hoping we can get legislators to lump us into their group.”

“This would really help me pay off my student loans if I could start making at least $15 an hour,” voiced Kelly Witherpoon, a recent nursing graduate.  “I hope to break even in about 8 years.”

With hospital administrators now outnumbering nurses and doctors combined, many administrators are worried about potential salary increases to $15 an hour.  “We aren’t sure our current health care model is sustainable if we had to raise our compensation to nurses,” said Mike Drookers, a hospital administrator making over $300,000 a year.  “If this law passes, we may be forced to lay off more nurses, which may tip the scales on our currently ideal nurse-to-patient ratios.”

Hopefully legislatures will recognize that nurses possess skills similar to fast food employees and they should be treated with equal respect or at least include them in the minimum raise hike.

Many medical and surgical residents are also looking to jump on the bandwagon too, since they come no where close to $15 an hour!

New Michael Brown Footage and the Crazy Story Behind it Leaking in a Fake News Documentary

New footage has been released of Michael Brown which attempts to put in context the now-infamous strong-armed robbery footage that had been previously released during the investigation of his “unarmed’ death at the hands of Darren Wilson in Ferguson, Missouri. It was released during South By Southwest (#SXSW) in Austin, Texas in a documentary film entitled “Stranger Fruit.” The film’s producer, Jason Pollock, claims he was in St. Louis (close to Ferguson) for two years putting the documentary together. The new footage was patched together in a way that made it appear as if Brown actually exchanged marijuana for the items he took from the store rather than stealing them. The intention of the film is to essentially vindicate those that say Michael Brown did not rob the store, therefore should not have been approached by Darren Wilson on that fateful day in 2014.

A big problem with Jason Pollock’s “film” is that it is obviously patched together and does not play the unreleased surveillance footage in full. Because if it did show all of the unreleased footage, then a different story would be painted. Not only was the Pollock’s footage deceptively edited, it also contained his narration of the story to support the deceptive editing.

The convenience store in question’s lawyer delivered a press conference on Tuesday March 14th in which he played all of the previously unreleased footage. It painted an entirely different story. Rather than Michael Brown paying for the merchandise with weed and leaving it behind the counter to pick up later, he attempts to pay for the merchandise with weed but the people behind the counter refuse. He tries to walk off with the goods but is stopped by the people in the store. He comes back to the counter and gives them the bag, they re-stock it, and that’s it. Michael Brown comes back the next morning and tries to do the same thing and this time, he simply walks off with the product, therefore he robs the store. And from there, Darren Wilson encountered him and the rest is history.

Long story short, Jason Pollock is simply trying to cash in on black people’s misery. On the misery of Michael Brown’s family. Apparently he doesn’t care if innocent people get hurt as a result. As long as he’s able to get his 15 minutes of fame. There have already been shootings at “demonstrations” in Ferguson in light of this “new” video that he most likely obtained through illegal methods. The purpose of the video I created is to present actual, real information to counteract Jason Pollock’s false and self-serving information.

CNN's Chris Cuomo Is Having A Rough Time

Mark Levin Issues Open Letter To CNN's Brian Stetler: "You Are Thoroughly Dishonest"

Mar 6, 2017 1:01 PM

Mark Levin, the man who started the ball rolling on 'Obamagate' by connecting the dots across various President Obama actions over the last year, has issued an open letter to CNN's Brian Stetler, exclaiming "you are thoroughly dishonest."
In response to this...
Levin writes... "You Are Thoroughly Dishonest"
Did you listen to my show on Thursday, before President Trump tweeted? Did you watch my appearance on Fox and Friends Sunday morning? I know you are ticked I did not appear on your show, despite your numerous requests. Your ad hominem attacks about "right wing" radio host and conspiracy theory stuff ... incredible.

I simply put together the stories that YOUR profession reported, on the public record. Do you deny there were two FISA applications? Do you deny the first was turned down? Do you deny the second was approved? It's called the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court. It is about surveillance. The fact that we cannot discern all the details because of the secrecy, except for what the media have revealed and selective leaks by the government, should cause you to want to know more, not to trash those who point it out.

And yes, we can make several logical implications based on events and experience. A FISA application is a big deal. One, or two in this case, that involve campaign surrogates, or a server or computer related to a candidate or campaign, etc., is a big deal. President Obama's statement is not a definitive statement of anything, other than he, personally, did not order a wiretap, which I never claimed. But that does not mean he was unaware of surveillance activity by several of his departments, even through routine reports to the president, such as the Daily Intel Briefing or information conveyed to him or his staff via the Justice Department re the FBI counter-intelligence activities. As for Clapper, despite his past dissembling before Congress, he may not have been aware of what was taking place since the FBI counter-intel operation reportedly sought the warrant. The Daily Intel Briefing might provide useful information in that regard as well.

Of course, the release of the FISA applications would also shed a lot of light on events, assuming YOU believe reports that they were filed.

Furthermore, Clapper has said, as recently as yesterday, that no connections between the Russians and the Trump campaign have been found. I am extremely critical of Russia, Putin, and the efforts to influence our election, although I do not believe they succeeded. That said, how would Clapper know of no connections if he, as former Director of National Intelligence, didn't look? On what is that based?

Your lack of curiosity and dishonesty about such matters and in dealing with me demean you and your profession. You are free to circulate this communication to whomever you wish, as I am making it public.
Stetler was quick to tweet a reply...

Levin emailed me, "Do you deny there were two FISA applications?" I replied: "I don't know. You don't know. The reporting is very murky."

So, as a reminder of just what the so-called 'Obamagate' timeline looks like - and where the DoJ was allegedly involved - here is Levin's story so far...
1. June 2016: FISA request. The Obama administration files a request with the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISA) to monitor communications involving Donald Trump and several advisers. The request, uncharacteristically, is denied.

2. July: Russia joke. Wikileaks releases emails from the Democratic National Committee that show an effort to prevent Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) from winning the presidential nomination. In a press conference, Donald Trump refers to Hillary Clinton’s own missing emails, joking: “Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 e-mails that are missing.” That remark becomes the basis for accusations by Clinton and the media that Trump invited further hacking.

3. October: Podesta emails. In October, Wikileaks releases the emails of Clinton campaign chair John Podesta, rolling out batches every day until the election, creating new mini-scandals. The Clinton campaign blames Trump and the Russians.

4. October: FISA request. The Obama administration submits a new, narrow request to the FISA court, now focused on a computer server in Trump Tower suspected of links to Russian banks. No evidence is found — but the wiretaps continue, ostensibly for national security reasons, Andrew McCarthy at National Review later notes. The Obama administration is now monitoring an opposing presidential campaign using the high-tech surveillance powers of the federal intelligence services.

5. January 2017: Buzzfeed/CNN dossier. Buzzfeed releases, and CNN reports, a supposed intelligence “dossier” compiled by a foreign former spy. It purports to show continuous contact between Russia and the Trump campaign, and says that the Russians have compromising information about Trump. None of the allegations can be verified and some are proven false. Several media outlets claim that they had been aware of the dossier for months and that it had been circulating in Washington.

6. January: Obama expands NSA sharing. As Michael Walsh later notes, and as the New York Times reports, the outgoing Obama administration “expanded the power of the National Security Agency to share globally intercepted personal communications with the government’s 16 other intelligence agencies before applying privacy protections.” The new powers, and reduced protections, could make it easier for intelligence on private citizens to be circulated improperly or leaked.

7. January: Times report. The New York Times reports, on the eve of Inauguration Day, that several agencies — the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Treasury Department are monitoring several associates of the Trump campaign suspected of Russian ties. Other news outlets also report the exisentence of “a multiagency working group to coordinate investigations across the government,” though it is unclear how they found out, since the investigations would have been secret and involved classified information.

8. February: Mike Flynn scandal. Reports emerge that the FBI intercepted a conversation in 2016 between future National Security Adviser Michael Flynn — then a private citizen — and Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak. The intercept supposedly was part of routine spying on the ambassador, not monitoring of the Trump campaign. The FBI transcripts reportedly show the two discussing Obama’s newly-imposed sanctions on Russia, though Flynn earlier denied discussing them. Sally Yates, whom Trump would later fire as acting Attorney General for insubordination, is involved in the investigation. In the end, Flynn resigns over having misled Vice President Mike Pence (perhaps inadvertently) about the content of the conversation.

9. February: Times claims extensive Russian contacts. The New York Times cites “four current and former American officials” in reporting that the Trump campaign had “repeated contacts with senior Russian intelligence officials. The Trump campaign denies the claims — and the Times admits that there is “no evidence” of coordination between the campaign and the Russians. The White House and some congressional Republicans begin to raise questions about illegal intelligence leaks.

10. March: the Washington Post targets Jeff Sessions. The Washington Post reports that Attorney General Jeff Sessions had contact twice with the Russian ambassador during the campaign — once at a Heritage Foundation event and once at a meeting in Sessions’s Senate office. The Post suggests that the two meetings contradict Sessions’s testimony at his confirmation hearings that he had no contacts with the Russians, though in context (not presented by the Post) it was clear he meant in his capacity as a campaign surrogate, and that he was responding to claims in the “dossier” of ongoing contacts. The New York Times, in covering the story, adds that the Obama White House “rushed to preserve” intelligence related to alleged Russian links with the Trump campaign. By “preserve” it really means “disseminate”: officials spread evidence throughout other government agencies “to leave a clear trail of intelligence for government investigators” and perhaps the media as well.

Incontrovertible Proof Obama Wiretapped Trump Tower - Lamestream Fake News Debunk Themselves!

If anybody wants to see a New York Times article, where the NYT inadvertently reveal that the intelligence services (under Obama) have been wire-tapping people in Trump's campaign, it can be found here>>>> Quote: "Mr. Manafort is among at least three Trump campaign advisers whose possible links to Russia are under scrutiny. Two others are Carter Page, a businessman and former foreign policy adviser to the campaign, and Roger Stone, a longtime Republican operative." "The F.B.I. is leading the investigations, aided by the National Security Agency, the C.I.A. and the Treasury Department’s financial crimes unit. The investigators have accelerated their efforts in recent weeks but have found no conclusive evidence of wrongdoing, the officials said. _One official said intelligence reports based on some of the wiretapped communications had been provided to the White House. " And yet, the DNC and Obama are claiming that they didn't authorize any wire-tapping! Now. remember a few weeks ago when Trump said on Twitter that the intelligence services were working against him, and then the media mocked Trump for his claims? Well, it looks like Trump was right all along!

Yet another dirty tricks ploy to sabotage the president

The British spy behind the infamous ‘pissgate’ dossier – in which it was alleged without absolutely no evidence that Donald Trump hired Russian hookers to urinate on a bed slept in by the Obamas – has been invited to testify against Trump in front of the Senate.
Before the election, ex-British Intelligence officer Christopher Steele was tasked with building a file on Trump in an effort to prove the president had ties with the Russian government.
Steele’s dossier, leaked last month, was initially reported on by CNN before BuzzFeed published the entire 35-page report, prompting widespread ridicule given that the bizarre claims were backed up by absolutely zero evidence.
In the dossier, Steele asserts that Trump hired Russian prostitutes “perform a Golden Showers urination show” on a bed in the Moscow Ritz Carlton Hotel where Barack and Michelle Obama had once slept during an official trip to Russia.
Steele has now been approached to testify before the US Senate Intelligence Committee’s investigation into Trump’s alleged links with Russia.
“Mr Steele’s friends say it is currently unlikely he would be willing to travel to the US. But it is understood Democrats – as well as some Republicans – in Congress are prepared to facilitate discreet initial meetings in the UK or on other neutral territory,” reports the Independent.
The Independent does not reveal the identity of those who have asked Steele to testify, although it should be noted that it was John McCain who sent an intermediary to London in November last year to collect the dossier so it could be handed to FBI director James Comey.
This represents yet another move by the deep state to sabotage Trump’s administration by fanning hyperbolic hysteria about connections to Russia with zero proof to back up the claims.
That agenda, combined with the constant drumbeat of contrived outrage from the left, has already forced General Michael Flynn to step down and Attorney General Jeff Sessions to recuse himself from the Russia investigation earlier today.
As we reported earlier, Barack Obama has set up a nerve center two miles from the White House in which he and a team of advisors are plotting to topple Trump by forcing him to resign or be impeached.
