New Ukrainian Moon UFO Observations Put the Moon’s Strangest Anomalies Back Under the Microscope

New Ukrainian Moon UFO Observations Put the Moon’s Strangest Anomalies Back Under the Microscope

By JM Talboo

What if the Moon isn't quite the dead, inactive world we were taught to imagine?

A new preprint from researchers associated with Ukraine's Main Astronomical Observatory of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine is making an extraordinary claim: high-speed observations near the Moon have captured objects that the researchers interpret as unidentified craft, including disc-shaped objects estimated at 25 to 40 kilometers across and toroidal, or ring-shaped, objects approximately 36 kilometers in size.

The researchers report speeds reaching approximately 11 kilometers per second, unusual brightness fluctuations, and apparent rotation.

Most remarkably, the authors ultimately propose that the Moon may serve as a base for UFOs and that these objects may represent a technologically advanced civilization.

Those are extraordinary claims.

They are also claims that remain unproven.

The paper is a preprint and has not established its conclusions through independent peer review or replication. But that doesn't necessarily make the underlying observations unworthy of examination.

And that is where this story gets interesting.

The Ukrainian Observations

The latest paper, “UFO Dynamics on the Moon,” is authored by Boris Zhilyaev, Vladimir Petukhov and Sergey Pokhvala, who identify themselves with the Main Astronomical Observatory of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in Kyiv.

According to the paper's abstract, high-speed video recordings of the sky near the Moon revealed numerous objects that the researchers broadly divide into “atmospheric” and “continental” categories.

The reported atmospheric objects produce flashes lasting between approximately 100 and 500 milliseconds, with brightness variations occurring at frequencies of a few hertz.

The more dramatic claims concern the objects the authors classify as continental.

The paper reports:

  • Disc-shaped objects approximately 25–40 kilometers in diameter

  • Toroidal objects approximately 36 kilometers across

  • Reported speeds reaching 11 km/s

  • A reported toroidal rotation period of approximately 180 seconds

  • A calculated centrifugal acceleration of approximately 2,200 cm/s², roughly twice Earth's surface gravity

  • And the authors' conclusion that the Moon may function as a UFO base.

An earlier paper by the same researchers, Observations of Unidentified Flying Objects on the Moon, reported objects ranging from approximately 14 to 36 kilometers, speeds between 6 and 11 km/s, and reconstructed disc-shaped and toroidal forms.

The researchers say their observations were made using high-speed astronomical imaging.

That doesn't automatically establish their interpretation.

But it does mean that the claims are not simply coming from an anonymous person posting a blurry cellphone video.

The Ukrainian observatory has publicly posted the research:

https://www.mao.kiev.ua/index.php/en/forum/info/717-ufo-dynamics-on-the-moon

https://www.mao.kiev.ua/index.php/en/forum/info/709-observations-of-ufos-on-the-moon

The full preprint is also available through research repositories.

The Angry Astronaut Reconsiders Old Lunar Footage

This is where the story gets considerably more interesting.

YouTuber The Angry Astronaut recently examined the Ukrainian research in a video titled:

“Insane! Astronomers spot huge UFOs orbiting the Moon!”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-fJOk72eCsU

The video doesn't merely discuss the new observations.

It also brings up older footage that The Angry Astronaut says he previously believed was fake.

And then he says something remarkable:

“Which for a very long time I thought was fake, but now I'm not so sure.”

That doesn't mean he is claiming that the old footage has been proven genuine.

He isn't.

He's saying that new information has caused him to reconsider a previous conclusion.

That is one of the most interesting aspects of the story.

The old footage, according to his discussion, appears to show something moving across the lunar surface in a manner that he now finds difficult to dismiss outright after seeing the new Ukrainian material.

He also makes an important distinction concerning the Ukrainian research itself:

“That does not make the interpretation correct, but it does mean the raw claim is coming from professional instrumentation, not a backyard telescope or a viral phone clip.”

That's an important point.

Professional equipment does not guarantee a correct interpretation.

But neither should a controversial interpretation automatically make the underlying observations unworthy of examination.

A Long History of Strange Things on the Moon

The Ukrainian observations aren't appearing in a vacuum.

The Moon has been the subject of anomalous observations for centuries.

Observers have reported transient flashes, glows, obscurations and other unusual phenomena on its surface. More recently, UFO researchers have compiled enormous catalogs of photographs they believe show structures or objects that appear difficult to explain as ordinary lunar terrain.

One extensive collection, “Strange Moon Surface Anomalies,” discusses alleged formations including:

  • The Tower

  • The Shard

  • The Castle

  • The Lunar Cylinder

  • The alleged Ukert Crater triangle

  • Objects associated with Apollo 12

  • Alleged moving objects known as Fastwalkers

  • And other unusual geometric formations.

https://www.unariunwisdom.com/strange-moon-surface-anomalies/

Another lunar-anomaly archive contains discussions of alleged structures referred to as The Tower, The Castle, The Dish, The Paperclip, and others.

https://www.tarrdaniel.com/documents/Ufology/lunar_anomaly.html

None of these names constitute scientific classifications.

They are names given by investigators who believe the images deserve further examination.

And some of the claims are much stranger than others.

The “Gun Turret” on the Moon

Here's the one that took some digging.

If you've ever tried searching for a “Moon gun turret,” “lunar cannon,” “mile-long gun turret,” “Apollo 16 gun turret,” or “gun emplacement on the Moon,” you may have discovered that finding the original source is surprisingly difficult.

The reason is that the claim comes from a specific documentary rather than from NASA itself.

The 2014 documentary Aliens on the Moon: The Truth Exposed examines an Apollo photograph and presents an interpretation of what investigators believe can be seen in it.

According to the documentary's narration, the photograph was taken by the Apollo 16 astronauts and allegedly shows a huge fortress-like formation consisting of a towering cylindrical structure positioned next to what might be a gun turret extending for more than a mile in the Mare Crisium region. The documentary also discusses a possible massive satellite dish.

That is almost certainly the image many people remember when they talk about a supposed “giant gun turret” or “cannon” on the Moon.

And the wording matters.

The documentary does not establish that NASA discovered a lunar gun.

It presents an interpretation of NASA imagery.

So there are three separate questions:

What does the original photograph actually show?

What did the documentary's investigators believe it showed?

Is that interpretation correct?

Those questions should not be collapsed into one.

But if you've been searching for that strange image of what looks like a giant cannon or gun emplacement on the lunar surface, the documentary is the trail to follow.

And yes—the alleged structure was described as extending more than a mile.

That's the phrase worth remembering.

The Tower, Castle, Dish and Other Lunar Anomalies

The alleged gun turret isn't an isolated claim.

Researchers who investigate lunar anomalies have identified numerous photographs they believe depict geometric or artificial-looking structures.

Among the most famous are:

The Tower

An enormous vertical formation that some investigators have interpreted as an artificial tower or construction.

The Castle

A complex-looking formation that has been interpreted as having apparent columns, structural elements and a central tower.

The Dish

A formation interpreted as resembling a gigantic communications dish or antenna.

The Shard

A tall, apparently geometric formation that has been interpreted by some investigators as an enormous artificial structure.

The Lunar Cylinder

An apparently cylindrical object that has attracted attention because of its unusual geometry.

The scale of some of these alleged objects is enormous.

But scale is one of the most difficult things to establish from a single lunar photograph.

Without reliable distance information and an appropriate reference, something that looks enormous may be much smaller—or may not be a discrete object at all.

That is why obtaining original imagery, examining multiple frames and establishing geometry are so important.

The Question of the Original Images

There's another reason the older lunar-anomaly material remains so controversial.

A photograph can be perfectly authentic while an interpretation of the photograph is completely wrong.

Lighting can create dramatic shadows.

Low-angle illumination can make ordinary terrain appear architectural.

Compression and image processing can introduce artifacts.

Perspective can distort familiar shapes.

And the human brain is exceptionally good at finding recognizable patterns in ambiguous imagery.

But the opposite problem exists too.

A photograph being ambiguous does not automatically mean the object in it has been explained.

The scientifically useful question isn't:

“Does it look like a building?”

It's:

“What measurements or observations would allow us to distinguish a building from a geological formation or image artifact?”

That's the standard any extraordinary interpretation ultimately has to meet.

What About the Moon's Other “Anomalies”?

The UFO literature surrounding the Moon contains much more than photographs of alleged structures.

There are also reports of:

  • Transient lunar lights

  • Strange flashes

  • Moving objects

  • Objects appearing above the lunar surface

  • Geometric formations

  • Apparent shadows without obvious sources

  • Unusual color changes

  • Objects seen in or around lunar photographs

Some observations have conventional explanations.

Others remain disputed.

And some are simply too poorly documented to reach a meaningful conclusion.

That doesn't make them evidence of aliens.

But it also doesn't make every historical observation automatically worthless.

The Flat-Earth Perspective: What If the UFO Story Is Part of the Cover-Up?

There is another perspective that deserves to be included—not because it has been proven, but because it represents a radically different interpretation of the entire lunar-anomaly phenomenon.

From a Flat-Earth perspective, the alleged UFOs, lunar structures and strange Moon imagery may themselves be part of the deception.

In this interpretation, the anomalies aren't necessarily exposing a secret extraterrestrial presence.

They may be part of the cover story designed to distract people from what is supposedly really happening.

In other words, the mystery itself could be the distraction.

The public sees strange objects.

Researchers argue about alien bases.

People debate whether structures are artificial.

Documentaries present dramatic interpretations.

And, from this perspective, all of that attention may be directed toward the wrong question.

The underlying idea is essentially:

What if we're being given a mystery to investigate because the real mystery is somewhere else?

This is a much more extreme proposition than the claim that unidentified objects are operating around the Moon, and there is no established evidence proving it.

But it is worth documenting because it demonstrates just how radically different the interpretations of the same material can become.

One person looks at a strange lunar photograph and sees an extraterrestrial installation.

Another sees a geological formation.

Another sees a camera artifact.

And the Flat-Earth interpretation asks whether the entire UFO narrative itself could be part of a larger deception intended to conceal the true nature of the world.

For readers interested in that perspective, this page presents a collection of lunar-anomaly material from within the alternative-research community:

https://bibliotecapleyades.net/luna/luna_moonanomalies12.htm

And that brings to mind a quotation frequently circulated in conspiracy and alternative-research circles:

“Whenever the people need a hero we shall supply him.”

—Albert Pike

Whatever its ultimate provenance, the sentiment captures the idea being discussed here: if people need a hero, villain, mystery or explanation, what if one is supplied to them?

Source:

https://ifunny.co/picture/whenever-the-people-need-a-hero-we-shall-supply-him-FdQlwZpQA

Again, that is presented here as the Flat-Earth/alternative perspective, not as an established explanation for the Moon.

The Moon's Extraordinary Eclipse Geometry

The lunar-UFO discussion also frequently moves into another unusual feature of the Earth-Moon system: total solar eclipses.

The Moon currently appears almost exactly the right angular size in Earth's sky to completely cover the Sun's photosphere while leaving the solar corona visible.

It is an extraordinary coincidence.

The Moon is also slowly receding from Earth, meaning the geometry of total solar eclipses is temporary on geological timescales.

This has led some people to wonder whether the timing is somehow significant.

But there is an important distinction.

The eclipse geometry is real.

The Moon's recession is real.

But neither fact establishes that the Moon was deliberately positioned here.

The coincidence can be fascinating without being proof of design.

And this is an important principle for the entire lunar-anomaly debate:

A strange coincidence is a reason to ask a question, not automatically an answer to it.

The Moon's Density and Origin

Another frequently discussed lunar characteristic is its density.

Earth's average density is approximately 5.51 g/cm³, while the Moon's is approximately 3.34 g/cm³.

The Moon therefore has a substantially lower average density than Earth.

The leading scientific explanation is the giant-impact hypothesis, in which a Mars-sized body—often called Theia—struck the early Earth and debris eventually formed the Moon.

The model provides a mechanism for a Moon with a relatively small iron core and a much larger proportion of mantle material.

There are, however, continuing scientific questions surrounding exactly how the Moon formed and how to reconcile the details of lunar formation models with the remarkable similarities between Earth and Moon samples.

Those questions are legitimate scientific problems.

They are not evidence that the Moon is artificial.

But they are another reminder that the conventional story of the Moon continues to develop as new evidence is examined.

The Peer-Review Question

This may be the most important issue raised by the new Ukrainian work.

The papers are preprints. They have not been established through peer review.

That matters.

Peer review is an important part of science because independent experts can examine methodology, calculations, data interpretation and conclusions.

But there is another side to the discussion.

What happens when controversial work is never given a serious opportunity to undergo that process?

The Angry Astronaut makes that argument directly.

Discussing the Ukrainian research, he says:

“Nobody is going to peer review something like this, which again in my opinion is incredibly irresponsible. If you want to disprove stuff like this, then give it a chance to stand up against peer review.”

That isn't the same as saying:

“It's not peer-reviewed, therefore it's true.”

It's the opposite challenge:

If it's wrong, examine it rigorously and demonstrate where it fails.

That is a legitimate position.

Our own article “Peer-Reviewed 9/11 Truth” isn't about UFOs or lunar anomalies, but it examines controversies surrounding peer review and why the process shouldn't be treated as a magical stamp of absolute truth.

https://911debunkers.blogspot.com/2012/10/peer-reviewed-911-truth.html?m=1

Peer review is important.

But peer review is performed by human beings.

It can identify errors.

It can improve research.

It can reject bad work.

And it can sometimes be influenced by disciplinary boundaries, assumptions, incentives and controversies surrounding a subject.

So the appropriate position isn't “peer review is meaningless.”

It's:

Peer review is an important tool—but it isn't the final word on reality.

What We Actually Know

At this point, it's useful to separate the claims from the conclusions.

What is documented?

Researchers associated with Ukraine's Main Astronomical Observatory have published preprints describing high-speed observations of unidentified objects near the Moon.

What do the researchers report?

They describe objects with estimated dimensions ranging from kilometers to tens of kilometers, including disc-shaped and toroidal forms, with reported high speeds and brightness variations.

What do they conclude?

They propose that the objects may represent manifestations of a technologically advanced civilization and that the Moon may serve as a base.

Has extraterrestrial origin been established?

No.

Has the new work been independently replicated and accepted through peer review?

Not at this point.

Does that automatically mean the observations are false?

No.

Does the fact that professional astronomical equipment was used prove the interpretation?

No.

That's the line we should keep throughout this investigation.

The Most Interesting Part May Be What Happens Next

The most scientifically useful outcome of this controversy wouldn't be for everybody to suddenly declare that the Moon is an alien base.

It would be for independent researchers to examine the data.

Check the instrumentation.

Examine the image-processing pipeline.

Verify the distance calculations.

Analyze possible optical artifacts.

Compare the observations with satellites, aircraft, spacecraft and other known objects.

Attempt simultaneous observations from multiple locations.

Try to reproduce the reported measurements.

If the objects are artifacts, show us.

If they're ordinary objects at a different distance, show us.

If the calculations are wrong, show us.

And if independent researchers perform those tests and the observations continue to resist explanation?

Then the story becomes considerably more interesting.

That's how controversial claims should be handled.

And What About That Old Video?

This brings us back to the footage that started another part of this investigation.

The Angry Astronaut says he once thought the video was fake.

After seeing the new Ukrainian material, he's no longer certain.

That does not prove the video is real.

It does demonstrate something else:

People can change their minds when new information causes them to reconsider old evidence.

That's worth remembering in both directions.

A believer should be willing to change his mind if the evidence fails.

A skeptic should be willing to change his mind if the evidence survives scrutiny.

And an investigator should be willing to say:

“I don't know yet.”

That may be the most honest answer available right now.

So… What Is Really Going On Up There?

The Moon has been photographed more extensively than almost any other object in the night sky.

We've orbited it.

We've landed on it.

We've driven vehicles across it.

We've collected samples.

We've left scientific instruments there.

And yet, somehow, the Moon continues to generate some of the strangest claims in modern anomalous research.

Some of those claims will almost certainly turn out to have mundane explanations.

Some may be artifacts of photography.

Some may be misidentified objects.

Some may simply be stories that grew larger over time.

But the new Ukrainian observations give us something different to examine: a contemporary set of quantitative claims made by named researchers using astronomical instrumentation.

Whether those observations ultimately survive scrutiny remains to be seen.

And the old lunar footage remains an open question for those who find it compelling.

The alleged mile-long lunar gun turret or cannon remains an interpretation from a 2014 documentary—not a discovery announced by NASA.

The Tower, Castle, Dish and other alleged structures remain interpretations of photographs.

The Flat-Earth claim that the entire UFO narrative could itself be part of a cover-up is another hypothesis entirely.

And none of these should be confused with established fact.

But neither should the existence of controversy be used as an excuse to stop investigating.

So we're going to put the claims on the table.

Here are the observations.

Here are the photographs.

Here is the footage.

Here are the researchers.

Here are the interpretations.

Here are the criticisms.

And now we wait to see whether somebody is willing to put the new claims through the kind of rigorous examination that could either knock them down—or make them considerably harder to dismiss.

We'll wait and see.

And if nobody even gives it a serious shot?

Remember that we said that.

Skinny Bob: New Footage Emerges as Recent Analysis Claims the Original Alien Footage Is Real

Skinny Bob: New Footage Emerges as Recent Analysis Claims the Original Alien Footage Is Real

By JM Talboo

The strange story of “Skinny Bob” has suddenly become interesting again.

For anyone unfamiliar with the case, the original Skinny Bob footage appeared on YouTube in 2011 under the username ivan0135. The grainy, apparently archival footage appeared to show a humanoid “Grey” alien being examined by what appeared to be military personnel. Other videos associated with the account appeared to show UFOs, military personnel and additional alleged extraterrestrial material.

For more than a decade, the footage has remained one of the most debated pieces of alleged alien footage on the internet.

Now, in 2026, there are two developments worth noting: recent technical analyses have argued that the original Skinny Bob footage may actually be genuine, and entirely new footage claiming to be connected to the Skinny Bob material has appeared online.

Recent Analysis Claims Skinny Bob Is Real

In July 2024, researcher Noah Hradek published an analysis titled “Skinny Bob is not CGI.”

Hradek examined the original footage using image-processing techniques, including error-level analysis, noise-pattern analysis and examination of the lighting in individual frames.

His conclusion was striking. While acknowledging that the analysis could not establish the footage's authenticity with absolute certainty, Hradek argued that the evidence indicated that the footage was probably not CGI.

He wrote:

“All of this indicates it’s a real photo with real lighting, modern CGI can do that kind of lighting but remember this was released in 2011 when CGI was more simplistic.”

Hradek ultimately estimated that the footage had a relatively low probability of being CGI, while emphasizing that questions about where and when the footage was actually recorded remain unanswered.

His complete analysis can be read here:

https://medium.com/@noahhradek/skinny-bob-is-not-cgi-239ef9ba1dee

Hradek published another analysis shortly afterward, specifically testing Skinny Bob imagery against machine-learning classifiers designed to distinguish CGI from photographic imagery. In that analysis, several of the models produced relatively low probabilities that the Skinny Bob image was CGI. He described the results as supporting his earlier conclusion that the footage was “probably not CGI,” while also acknowledging that the testing did not constitute absolute proof.

That analysis is available here:

https://medium.com/predict/cgi-classification-using-fourier-embeddings-f668e4f652a6

A separate forensic examination published in July 2025 also revisited the original 2011 videos using modern techniques. The analysis examined movement, lighting, blinking, motion vectors, Fourier analysis and several AI-generated-content detection tools. Its provocative title was “The Skinny Bob Footage Is Real… But Not How You Think.”

That examination can be found here:

https://podcasts.apple.com/nz/podcast/the-skinny-bob-footage-is-real-but-not-how-you-think/id1741618111?i=1000717630124

Again, none of these analyses independently proves that Skinny Bob was an extraterrestrial being. What they do demonstrate is that researchers have continued to subject the original footage to increasingly sophisticated technical examination, with some arguing that it does not behave like conventional CGI.

Then, New Skinny Bob Footage Appeared

On July 29, 2026, three new videos began circulating after appearing on a YouTube channel called qtecqot.

The videos were presented as additional material connected to the mysterious Skinny Bob footage. They reportedly include footage of an unidentified craft, what appears to be military personnel examining the interior of a craft, and another apparent appearance of the humanoid figure associated with the original Skinny Bob videos.

The appearance of the videos immediately generated debate online. Some viewers have argued that the material represents previously unseen footage from the same source, while others have questioned whether the new material was created using modern CGI or artificial intelligence.

At this point, the provenance of the new footage remains unverified.

A recent article from Stanisland Magazine examines the new material and provides access to the footage:

https://stanisland.com/is-new-skinny-bob-footage-real/

The article describes the videos as allegedly containing additional evidence connected to the original Skinny Bob material and discusses the unusual circumstances surrounding their appearance.

A Mystery Gets a New Chapter

The Skinny Bob story began more than fifteen years ago with a handful of anonymous videos uploaded to YouTube.

Since then, the footage has been dismissed by some as CGI or a sophisticated hoax, while others have continued to argue that something about it doesn't fit the conventional explanation.

What makes the latest developments interesting is that the original footage is now being examined with tools that simply weren't available when the videos first appeared. At least some of those analyses have concluded that the imagery appears inconsistent with conventional CGI.

And now, more than a decade after the original videos appeared, new footage claiming to be connected to Skinny Bob has surfaced.

That doesn't settle the mystery.

But it certainly gives investigators, researchers and anyone fascinated by unexplained footage something new to examine.

Nine Feet in the Idaho Forest: Examining the 2026 Payette National Forest Bigfoot Report

Nine Feet in the Idaho Forest: Examining the 2026 Payette National Forest Bigfoot Report

The Bigfoot mystery continues to generate reports from across North America, but some cases stand out because of the number of witnesses involved, the circumstances surrounding the encounter, and the questions they raise about Sasquatch behavior.

A recent report from Idaho has all of those elements.

Published in the July 2026 issue of Bigfoot Times, the case involves a group camping in the Payette National Forest near McCall, Idaho, during Memorial Day weekend. What makes this report particularly interesting is that it was not a single person seeing something unusual from a distance. Multiple witnesses reported seeing or hearing unusual activity over several days.

Before examining the details, it should be noted that a sighting report does not automatically prove the existence of an unknown animal. However, good investigation requires looking at the details, considering alternative explanations, and asking what questions remain.

This is exactly the type of case where careful analysis is needed.

The Payette National Forest Encounter

According to the report summarized in Bigfoot Times, the incident occurred approximately 16 miles northeast of McCall, Idaho, in the Payette National Forest.

The BFRO report was listed as report number 81-202 and was submitted by Kyera Tipper on May 27, 2026.

The group consisted of approximately ten people camping from May 22 through May 25, 2026.

The first unusual incident reportedly occurred Friday night when Abby, one of the campers, saw a tall dark figure behind another couple’s tent. She reportedly did not mention it immediately because she did not want to frighten the group.

The following day, after an argument at camp, Colton walked into the tree line to get away from the situation. Kyera later followed, believing she was looking for him.

While in the woods, Kyera reported hearing someone walking nearby and whistling from different directions, creating the impression that whatever was making the sounds was moving around her.

She initially believed Colton was responsible. However, when she returned, Colton told her he had already been back at camp.

Later that night, the group reported hearing branches breaking, which they initially attributed to coyotes or other wildlife.

The most dramatic part of the report occurred around 3 a.m. on Sunday morning.

Daniel reportedly saw a figure standing on two legs, approximately nine feet tall, with “blank, reflective eyes,” walking toward him.

The group reportedly grabbed a .22 rifle and entered the woods to investigate.

According to the report, when they moved toward another camp because they believed the figure was heading in that direction, they felt they were surrounded by three or more creatures.

Daniel and Colton later described seeing figures approximately nine feet tall, covered in dark fur, standing upright, and moving in a way they felt was too fast and coordinated to be human.

They reported that the figures appeared to use trees for concealment and seemed to circle the group.

Additional reported activity included knocking sounds, a possible handprint on a vehicle, and a footprint photograph. However, the Bigfoot Times analysis noted that the footprint image was not detailed enough for meaningful examination.

Matt Moneymaker of the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization reportedly spoke with two of the witnesses and stated that he believed they were telling the truth.

The important distinction here is that believing a witness is truthful does not necessarily mean every interpretation of an event is correct. A person can honestly describe an unusual experience while still being mistaken about what caused it.

That is why these cases require careful examination.

Multiple Witnesses and the Importance of Investigation

One of the strongest aspects of this report is the number of people involved.

A single witness report can be challenged in many ways. The person may have misidentified an animal, misunderstood distance or lighting conditions, or interpreted an unfamiliar experience incorrectly.

However, when multiple people report similar observations, the investigation becomes more complex.

That does not automatically prove a Sasquatch encounter occurred, but it does make the case more interesting.

Daniel Perez, editor and publisher of Bigfoot Times, has long emphasized the importance of actually investigating witnesses rather than dismissing reports without speaking to the people involved.

In my 2008 interview with Daniel Perez, he discussed the importance of eyewitness investigation and criticized situations where researchers dismiss cases without directly examining the testimony of those who experienced them.

Undebunking Bigfoot: Interview with Bigfoot Times Newsletter Creator Daniel Perez
https://undebunkingbigfoot.blogspot.com/2008/04/interview-with-bigfoot-times-newsletter.html

The Migraine Question and Infrasound

One of the most interesting details in the Idaho report is that several witnesses reportedly experienced migraines before the encounter.

Some Bigfoot researchers have suggested that infrasound could potentially explain certain recurring experiences reported in some encounters, including headaches, discomfort, anxiety, or feelings of unease.

Infrasound refers to sound frequencies below the normal range of human hearing. While infrasound exists in nature and can be produced by storms, animals, machinery, and geological activity, the idea that Sasquatch produces or uses it remains a hypothesis rather than an established fact.

Still, the timing reported in this case is worth noting.

The witnesses did not simply report headaches after becoming frightened. They reported unusual physical sensations before the alleged encounter.

Whether this has a connection to the event or is simply coincidental remains unknown.

Could It Have Been Bears?

One of the most common skeptical explanations for Bigfoot reports is that witnesses are actually seeing bears.

This is a legitimate question. Bears can stand upright, and misidentifications can happen.

However, the bear explanation should be evaluated based on the complete description, not just the fact that bears sometimes stand on two legs.

The Sasquatch Field Guide by Dr. Jeff Meldrum compares distinguishing features between bears and reported Sasquatch characteristics.

A bear typically has:

  • ears positioned on top of the head,

  • a visible snout,

  • sloping shoulders,

  • shorter limbs.

Reported Sasquatch descriptions commonly include:

  • ears positioned more to the side of the head or hidden,

  • a flatter facial structure,

  • broad shoulders,

  • longer limbs,

  • different body proportions.

This does not mean every Bigfoot report is correct. It does mean that “it was probably a bear” should not automatically end the discussion without examining the details.

I previously examined this argument in:

The Bigfoot Are Really Just Misidentified Bears Argument
https://undebunkingbigfoot.blogspot.com/2013/08/the-bigfoot-are-really-just.html

The question is not whether bears can explain some sightings.

The question is whether a bear explanation fits every detail of every report.

A Question of Sasquatch Behavior

Perhaps the most unsettling aspect of the Idaho report is not simply the size of the figures described, but the behavior witnesses believed they observed.

The witnesses interpreted the movement of the figures as an attempt to circle them and separate members of the group.

That interpretation cannot be independently confirmed.

However, it raises an important question:

If Sasquatch existed, would we expect every individual to behave like the gentle creature portrayed in popular culture?

A real animal would have instincts, individual personalities, territorial behaviors, and survival needs.

The idea that every member of an unknown species would be harmless is an assumption.

In the Bigfoot Times discussion of this report, the behavior described was compared to possible hunting strategies used when pursuing deer.

That does not mean the witnesses were being hunted.

It means the reported behavior raises questions about how an unknown large primate might interact with its environment.

I explored this broader question in:

Could Bigfoot Be Dangerous? Examining the Overlooked Question of Sasquatch Behavior
https://undebunkingbigfoot.blogspot.com/2026/08/could-bigfoot-be-dangerous-examining.html

The point is not to portray Sasquatch as a monster.

The point is that if it were a real animal, it would not necessarily fit into a simple category of either “friendly” or “dangerous.”

Nature is more complicated than that.

Another Idaho Report: Lowman, Idaho

The Payette National Forest report is not the only recent Idaho case.

BFRO report number 81-276 describes a June 2026 sighting near Lowman, Idaho.

Unlike the Payette report, this involved a single witness during daylight.

Donald Schmidt reported seeing movement approximately 60 to 70 yards away while hiking near Deadwood Reservoir.

He initially considered the possibility of a bear or mountain lion.

After watching for approximately a minute, he reported seeing the animal stand upright and walk away.

Schmidt described the figure as between five and six feet tall, with reddish hair, a tall head, no visible neck, and broad shoulders.

The witness reportedly had extensive outdoor experience and regularly encountered wildlife.

Interestingly, Schmidt stated that he had previously been skeptical of Bigfoot reports and had even teased his brother about a previous sighting near McCall.

After his own experience, he reportedly became less certain.

This type of report is interesting because it comes from someone who did not appear to be actively searching for Sasquatch.

Why No Photograph?

A common criticism of modern Bigfoot reports is:

“Everyone has a camera. Why didn’t they take a picture?”

It is a fair question.

However, the existence of a camera does not guarantee a usable photograph.

Wildlife encounters often happen:

  • unexpectedly,

  • at distance,

  • through vegetation,

  • in poor lighting,

  • before a person has processed what they are seeing.

A person may spend the first few seconds trying to understand whether they are looking at a bear, a person, or something unfamiliar.

The Bigfoot field also does not lack claimed photographs and videos.

The debate has generally centered on interpretation, authenticity, and quality rather than a complete absence of imagery.

I previously examined claimed Sasquatch photographs and videos in:

Highly Probable, Possible, Inconclusive, and Widely Rejected Sasquatch Videos and Photos
https://undebunkingbigfoot.blogspot.com/2014/11/highly-probable-possible-inconclusive.html

More recently, I examined newer high-resolution footage and the challenges of evaluating modern digital media in:

Evidence That New Real Up Close Sasquatch Video Is Real and Todd Standing's Footage Too!
https://undebunkingbigfoot.blogspot.com/2026/06/evidence-that-new-real-up-close.html

The issue has never simply been a lack of images.

The issue has been whether the images can reach a level of certainty that convinces everyone.

Final Thoughts

The Idaho reports from 2026 are interesting because they bring together many of the biggest questions in Bigfoot research:

  • How reliable are eyewitness accounts?

  • How should multiple witnesses be evaluated?

  • How do we distinguish Sasquatch reports from bear encounters?

  • What would the behavior of an unknown large primate actually look like?

  • How much weight should be placed on photographs and videos?

The Payette National Forest report does not solve the Bigfoot mystery.

But it is exactly the type of case that keeps the discussion alive.

The most important question may not simply be whether Bigfoot exists.

It may be this:

If an unknown intelligent animal existed in the wilderness, would we really understand its behavior before encountering it?

Are Ghosts Real? Examining the Evidence Behind the Haunting Question

Are Ghosts Real? Examining the Evidence Behind the Haunting Question

For centuries, people across cultures have reported encounters with ghosts, spirits, and unexplained phenomena.

Stories of haunted houses, apparitions, strange voices, and encounters with the dead appear throughout human history. From ancient civilizations to modern ghost investigations, the idea that something about a person may continue after death has remained one of humanity’s most persistent mysteries.

But what exactly are people experiencing?

Are ghost reports simply folklore, misinterpretations, and psychological effects?

Or could some experiences represent something we do not yet understand?

The Universal Nature of Ghost Stories

One of the most interesting aspects of ghost reports is how widespread they are.

Nearly every culture has traditions involving spirits, ancestors, or the possibility that the dead can interact with the living.

While the details vary, the basic idea appears repeatedly:

  • people seeing figures that should not be there,

  • hearing voices or footsteps,

  • objects moving unexpectedly,

  • locations associated with unusual activity.

The consistency of these themes across different cultures is one reason researchers continue to study why humans have these experiences.

The Problem of Defining a Ghost

Before asking whether ghosts exist, there is an important question:

What is a ghost?

Different traditions describe ghosts in different ways.

Some describe them as the spirits or personalities of deceased people.

Others suggest they may be impressions left behind by emotional events.

Some paranormal researchers have proposed theories involving consciousness, energy, or unknown aspects of physics.

Without a confirmed explanation, the word “ghost” can represent many different possibilities.

Beyond Ghosts: Other Reports Connected to Survival of Consciousness

Ghost reports are only one part of a much larger discussion about whether consciousness may continue after physical death.

Throughout history, people have pointed to several categories of experiences as possible evidence that the mind may be more than simply the activity of the brain.

Near-Death Experiences (NDEs)

Near-death experiences are among the most studied phenomena connected to questions about consciousness.

People who have been close to death — including during cardiac arrest, severe accidents, or medical emergencies — have reported experiences such as:

  • feelings of peace,

  • seeing a bright light,

  • encountering deceased relatives,

  • experiencing a sense of leaving the body,

  • reviewing important moments of their lives.

Researchers continue to debate how these experiences should be explained.

Some scientists suggest they result from brain activity during extreme physiological stress.

Others argue that certain cases raise questions about whether consciousness can exist independently of normal brain function.

Shared Death Experiences

A related phenomenon is the shared death experience.

These reports involve someone who is not dying themselves but claims to experience aspects of another person’s death, such as seeing a light, sensing a transition, or feeling connected to the dying person’s experience.

Supporters argue that these cases raise interesting questions because the person reporting the experience is not the person experiencing the medical crisis.

Skeptics suggest grief, emotional connection, expectation, and psychological factors may explain many of these experiences.

Religious Experiences, Saints, and Miracles

Across thousands of years, religious traditions have recorded accounts of visions, healings, miracles, and encounters with spiritual beings.

Different cultures interpret these events through their own beliefs.

Examples include reports associated with saints, mystical experiences, answered prayers, and events considered miraculous by believers.

Skeptics often search for natural explanations, while believers argue that some events point toward a reality beyond the physical world.

Regardless of interpretation, these accounts represent one of humanity’s oldest collections of experiences considered beyond ordinary explanation.

Astral Projection and Out-of-Body Experiences

Another related phenomenon is astral projection or out-of-body experiences.

People who report these experiences describe a sensation of consciousness separating from the physical body and observing the world from another perspective.

Some researchers connect these experiences to brain states involving sleep, trauma, meditation, or altered consciousness.

Others argue that certain reports raise questions about whether consciousness may have abilities beyond normal sensory perception.

The Larger Consciousness Question

Ghost sightings, near-death experiences, shared death experiences, mystical experiences, and out-of-body reports all connect to a larger question:

Is consciousness entirely produced by the brain, or does the brain act as a receiver or filter for something more fundamental?

Modern science has learned an enormous amount about the brain, but consciousness itself remains one of the biggest unanswered questions in neuroscience.

Historical Reports of Apparitions

Ghost stories are not a modern invention.

Historical records contain accounts of unusual experiences involving apparitions and strange events.

One famous example is the Brown Lady of Raynham Hall, a reported apparition photographed in 1936 at Raynham Hall in England.

The image became one of the most famous alleged ghost photographs in history.

Skeptics have proposed explanations ranging from photographic effects to deliberate deception, while believers argue that the image remains unexplained.

The debate illustrates a common pattern in paranormal research: an event may be documented, but interpretation remains disputed.

Haunted Locations and Repeated Reports

One argument often made by paranormal researchers is that some locations produce repeated reports from unrelated witnesses.

Places such as old theaters, battlefields, hospitals, prisons, and historic homes frequently become associated with ghost stories.

Skeptics argue that expectations, suggestion, and storytelling can influence what people experience.

Others argue that repeated reports from different people deserve investigation, especially when witnesses describe similar details without prior knowledge of each other.

Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP)

One of the most discussed areas of modern ghost research is Electronic Voice Phenomena, or EVP.

Researchers have reported capturing voices or sounds on recordings that they believe were not audible at the time of recording.

Supporters argue that some recordings contain intelligent responses or information unknown to the investigator.

Skeptics often suggest explanations such as audio contamination, interference, or the human tendency to find meaning in random sounds.

The debate continues because interpreting audio evidence is often subjective.

Modern Investigations: When Objects Appear to Respond

One of the most debated categories of paranormal evidence involves objects that appear to respond intelligently.

A recent example comes from Expedition X during an investigation of the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum in West Virginia.

During the episode “Trapped in the Asylum,” investigators examined claims of unusual activity inside the historic building. During one sequence, a vintage record player appeared to activate while investigators were present. At the same time, images being displayed through an old slideshow system were changing, and a component holding the slides eventually fell from the equipment.

Host Josh Gates, who has participated in numerous investigations of unusual locations around the world, reacted strongly to the event and described it as one of the most remarkable experiences he had encountered during his investigations.

Events like this are especially interesting to paranormal researchers because they involve more than a sighting or feeling. The claim is that something appears to be affecting the physical environment.

However, these cases also demonstrate the challenge of paranormal investigation.

A device activating could potentially have many explanations:

  • electrical problems,

  • mechanical issues,

  • environmental factors,

  • human involvement,

  • or, according to paranormal investigators, interaction with an unseen intelligence.

The question is not simply whether something happened.

The question is what caused it.

The Role of Science

Science has investigated many aspects of reported paranormal experiences.

Some researchers have explored possible explanations involving:

  • environmental factors,

  • electromagnetic fields,

  • infrasound,

  • sleep-related experiences,

  • memory,

  • perception,

  • and psychology.

These explanations can account for some experiences, but many people who report encounters argue that not every case fits neatly into these categories.

The challenge is separating experiences that have ordinary explanations from those that remain genuinely unexplained.

The Importance of Witness Testimony

Many ghost reports come from eyewitness accounts.

Witness testimony is valuable, but it is also complicated.

Humans can misinterpret sights and sounds, especially in darkness, unfamiliar environments, or emotionally intense situations.

At the same time, dismissing every witness report ignores the fact that many discoveries throughout history began with observations that were initially considered unusual.

The challenge is evaluating each case individually.

Investigations and Documentation

Modern ghost investigators often use tools such as:

  • audio recorders,

  • cameras,

  • environmental sensors,

  • temperature monitors,

  • and other equipment.

However, equipment alone does not automatically prove a paranormal cause.

A strange reading still requires interpretation.

A temperature change could represent paranormal activity, but it could also have a natural explanation.

The strongest investigations are those that consider both possibilities.

Why Do Ghost Stories Continue?

The persistence of ghost reports raises interesting questions about consciousness.

Humans have always wondered:

  • Does consciousness continue after death?

  • Can personality exist independently of the body?

  • Are some experiences revealing something unknown about reality?

These questions remain among the deepest mysteries humans explore.

The Real Mystery

The question of ghosts is not simply whether someone believes or does not believe.

It is a question about evidence.

Some reported experiences have clear explanations.

Some are likely influenced by expectation, memory, or environment.

Others remain difficult for people to explain.

The existence of ghosts has not been scientifically proven, but the sheer number and consistency of reports across history make the subject one that continues to fascinate researchers and the public alike.

Perhaps the most important question is not:

“Do ghosts exist?”

Perhaps the better question is:

“What are people experiencing when they report encounters with something they believe is beyond ordinary explanation?”

Seven Questions Surrounding the Collapse of World Trade Center 7

Seven Questions Surrounding the Collapse of World Trade Center 7

On September 11, 2001, three World Trade Center buildings collapsed.

Most people are familiar with the Twin Towers, but the collapse of a third skyscraper — World Trade Center Building 7 — has remained one of the most debated events of that day.

WTC 7 was a 47-story steel-framed building located across the street from the main World Trade Center complex. Unlike the Twin Towers, it was not struck by an airplane.

At approximately 5:20 PM on September 11, 2001, Building 7 collapsed completely.

The official explanation from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is that fires caused by debris from the collapse of the North Tower led to structural failures that eventually caused a progressive collapse.

However, several aspects of the collapse have led engineers, scientists, and researchers to question aspects of that explanation.

1. Building 7 Was Not Hit by an Airplane

Unlike the Twin Towers, WTC 7 did not experience an aircraft impact.

The building was damaged by debris from the collapse of WTC 1, and fires burned for several hours.

The central debate has focused on whether those fires could realistically explain the complete collapse of a 47-story steel building.

2. The Building Appeared to Collapse Into Its Own Footprint

One reason WTC 7 became controversial is the appearance of the collapse.

Video footage shows the building descending in a largely symmetrical manner, which some observers have compared visually to controlled demolition.

Supporters of the official explanation argue that the exterior appearance does not tell the full story because significant internal failures occurred before the visible exterior collapse.

NIST stated that internal structural failures occurred first, with the exterior frame following later.

3. The Free Fall Debate

One of the most discussed issues involves the building’s downward acceleration.

Physics teacher David Chandler analyzed video footage of WTC 7 and argued that the building experienced a period of true free fall.

His analysis became part of a public debate with NIST, whose initial explanations rejected the idea that the building had fallen at free-fall acceleration.

In its final report, NIST acknowledged that a portion of the collapse involved approximately 2.25 seconds of gravitational acceleration, which corresponds to free fall.

The debate then shifted from whether free fall occurred to what that free fall meant.

Critics argue that free fall suggests that resistance from the supporting structure had been removed.

NIST argues that its collapse model explains how internal failures could create that condition temporarily.

4. The University of Alaska Fairbanks Study

Another major development came from a research project at the University of Alaska Fairbanks led by structural engineer Dr. Leroy Hulsey.

The four-year study examined different collapse scenarios using computer modeling.

The researchers concluded that fire did not cause the collapse and instead proposed a scenario involving near-simultaneous failure of the building’s columns.

The study has been cited by critics of the official explanation as evidence that alternative engineering interpretations exist.

5. Why Building 7 Became a Symbol of Debate

Building 7 became controversial because it sits at the intersection of several questions:

  • How do large steel buildings fail?

  • Can fire alone cause a total collapse?

  • How should video evidence be interpreted?

  • How much confidence should the public place in official investigations?

Different researchers have reached different conclusions.

6. The Importance of Looking at the Evidence

The Building 7 debate demonstrates why examining evidence matters.

Supporters of the official explanation point to NIST’s investigation, computer modeling, and engineering analysis.

Critics point to issues such as the collapse appearance, free fall period, and alternative studies like the University of Alaska Fairbanks research.

The disagreement is not about whether Building 7 collapsed.

Everyone agrees that it did.

The disagreement is about exactly why.

7. A Scientific Question, Not Just a Political One

For many people, Building 7 became associated with larger debates about 9/11.

However, at its core, the question is an engineering one:

What mechanism caused a 47-story steel building to completely collapse?

The answer depends on interpreting complex evidence involving fire behavior, structural engineering, computer simulations, and video analysis.

Conclusion: The Mystery of Building 7

World Trade Center Building 7 remains one of the most discussed engineering events of the modern era.

The official explanation is that uncontrolled fires caused a progressive collapse.

Other researchers argue that the evidence points toward a different mechanism.

The ongoing debate shows the importance of examining technical evidence carefully, understanding competing arguments, and allowing questions to be investigated through science and engineering.

Could Bigfoot Be Dangerous? Examining the Overlooked Question of Sasquatch Behavior

Could Bigfoot Be Dangerous? Examining the Overlooked Question of Sasquatch Behavior

When most people picture Bigfoot, they imagine a gentle giant.

Popular culture has transformed Sasquatch into a misunderstood forest creature — a shy being that avoids humans and wants nothing to do with conflict. From movies to documentaries, the modern image is often closer to a friendly neighbor in the woods than a wild animal.

But there is a question that is rarely examined:

If Bigfoot were a real species, would it necessarily be harmless?

The question is not whether Bigfoot is “good” or “evil.” The question is whether an unknown animal should automatically be assumed to behave differently from every other large creature on Earth.

If Sasquatch existed, it would likely have instincts, territorial behaviors, individual personalities, and survival needs just like other animals.

The Friendly Bigfoot Problem

The popular image of Bigfoot is often influenced by entertainment. Movies such as Harry and the Hendersons helped create the idea of Sasquatch as a gentle, misunderstood creature.

But a fictional portrayal is not the same thing as a biological assessment.

If Sasquatch were real, it would not necessarily fit into a simple category of “friendly” or “dangerous.” Nature is more complicated than that.

Among known species, individuals can vary greatly. Some animals are curious. Some are fearful. Some are territorial. Some are aggressive when threatened.

Humans themselves demonstrate this variation.

If Sasquatch were a real intelligent species, it would be reasonable to ask whether the same variation could exist among them.

“No Credible Reports” — A Question of Definition

A common statement in Bigfoot discussions is that there are “no credible reports” of Bigfoot harming humans.

That statement deserves examination because the word “credible” carries a lot of weight.

It does not mean there are no stories.

It means that the person evaluating those stories does not consider them reliable enough to accept as evidence.

This raises an important question:

Who decides what is credible?

Different researchers may evaluate the same account differently. One person may see a story as folklore, while another may see it as a report worth investigating.

The existence of disputed accounts does not prove they happened, but dismissing them completely may prevent meaningful discussion about possible behavior.

Traditional Stories of Dangerous Sasquatch-Like Beings

The modern friendly Bigfoot image is only one interpretation of these beings.

Long before the word “Bigfoot” became popular, many Indigenous cultures had traditions involving large, hairy, human-like beings.

These stories vary greatly between cultures. Some describe beings that are mysterious or reclusive. Others include warnings about powerful or dangerous entities.

Some traditions discussed by Bigfoot researchers include accounts of Sasquatch-like beings carrying away people, including stories involving women being taken.

These accounts should be understood as traditional stories and oral histories rather than confirmed events. However, they demonstrate that the idea of these beings has not always been limited to a harmless creature hiding in the forest.

The older traditions are often much more complex than the modern popular image.

The Dennis Martin Disappearance and Missing 411 Discussions

One of the most discussed Missing 411 cases connected to Bigfoot theories is the 1969 disappearance of six-year-old Dennis Martin in the Great Smoky Mountains.

David Paulides has discussed the case through his Missing 411 research, but he has not claimed that Bigfoot was responsible.

The reason the case enters Bigfoot discussions is because of witness accounts describing a large figure carrying something over its shoulder. Some researchers have interpreted this description as possibly resembling a large hairy creature carrying the child.

Others have suggested different explanations.

The importance of the case is not that it proves a Sasquatch connection. Rather, it demonstrates how some researchers arrive at the question in the first place.

The Stacy Aris Disappearance

Another case sometimes discussed in connection with Bigfoot theories is the 1981 disappearance of 14-year-old Stacy Aris in Yosemite National Park.

Stacy disappeared while hiking near the Sunrise High Sierra Camp. Despite extensive searches involving rescue teams, volunteers, helicopters, and search dogs, no confirmed trace of her was ever found.

David Paulides has discussed the case but has not claimed Bigfoot involvement.

Some researchers and commentators have connected the case to Sasquatch discussions because of the remote wilderness location, the lack of evidence, and the broader history of unusual reports from wilderness areas.

The most commonly considered explanation is that Stacy suffered an accident in difficult terrain and was never found.

The Bigfoot connection remains speculative, but the case is often included in discussions about unexplained wilderness disappearances.

Ape Canyon: A Classic Story of Aggressive Behavior

One of the most famous examples cited in discussions of potentially aggressive Bigfoot behavior is the 1924 Ape Canyon incident near Mount St. Helens, Washington.

According to the accounts of several miners, they encountered large, hairy, ape-like creatures and later claimed their cabin was attacked during the night by beings throwing rocks and boulders.

The story became one of the earliest and most famous Bigfoot-related reports involving alleged aggression.

Critics have questioned the details of the account and offered alternative explanations. However, within Bigfoot research, Ape Canyon remains an important example because it describes behavior that witnesses interpreted as defensive or territorial.

If the event happened as described, it would represent a very different image from the harmless Bigfoot often portrayed today.

Portlock, Alaska: The Legend of the Killer Sasquatch

Perhaps the most famous modern story involving a dangerous Sasquatch comes from Portlock, Alaska.

According to local legend, residents of the remote settlement experienced frightening encounters with a large, hairy unknown creature known in some accounts as the Nantinaq.

Stories claim that people disappeared, strange tracks were found, and fear of the creature eventually contributed to the community being abandoned.

The story was investigated in the television program Alaskan Killer Bigfoot, which explored the Portlock legend and reported encounters connected to the area.

However, the details remain debated. Some researchers believe later retellings exaggerated parts of the story, and the decline of the community may have involved other factors.

Regardless, the legend remains one of the most commonly cited examples in discussions about whether Sasquatch could potentially be dangerous.

The Dog Question: Would Sasquatch Interact Aggressively With Animals?

Another recurring theme in Bigfoot reports involves encounters with dogs.

Some accounts describe dogs reacting fearfully to a Sasquatch presence, while others describe alleged attacks or injuries involving dogs.

Reports of aggressive encounters with dogs are controversial and difficult to verify, but they raise an interesting behavioral question.

If Sasquatch were a real animal, interaction with dogs would not be unusual.

Dogs are territorial animals. They are closely related to wolves and coyotes, and they often react strongly to unfamiliar animals entering their environment.

A large unknown primate might ignore dogs, avoid them, or potentially view them as a threat.

Reports involving dogs are inconsistent, with some claiming aggression and others describing peaceful encounters.

That inconsistency may actually fit the behavior of a complex species.

A Real Species Would Not Be One-Dimensional

The biggest question is this:

If Sasquatch existed, why would we assume every individual would behave the same way?

Every known species has variation.

Some individuals are calm. Some are aggressive. Some are curious. Some are territorial.

Even highly intelligent animals display a wide range of behaviors.

A real undiscovered species would not necessarily be a monster — but it also would not necessarily be a harmless cartoon character.

The responsible approach would be to examine all possibilities.

The Real Mystery

The question of whether Bigfoot could be dangerous is not about creating fear.

It is about consistency.

If Sasquatch is discussed as a possible animal, then it should be considered through the same lens as other animals.

That means asking:

Would it have instincts?
Would it defend territory?
Would individuals behave differently?
Could some encounters be dangerous?

The mystery of Bigfoot continues because so much remains unknown.

Perhaps the biggest mistake would be assuming we already know what an unknown creature would be like.
