They use “anonymous sources,” they use misleading text, and they even selectively edit Trump’s speeches and video recording to make him look far worse than he actually is. Naturally, conservatives have pointed this out numerous times—and even President Trump himself has called out the fake news media for their ridiculous bias. After he just decided to call out Washington Post reporter Dave Weigel after a misleading photo however, nobody expected what would happen next. Apparently Weigel had posted a picture of an empty arena where President Trump was giving a speech, except he forgot to report on one crucial fact. The photo was taken hours before President Trump even arrived, so of course nobody was going to be in the seating yet. Kiro 7 reports. WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – President Donald Trump has demanded and received an apology from a Washington Post reporter over a photo of Trump’s Florida rally on Friday. Trump tweeted Saturday that “.@DaveWeigel @WashingtonPost put out a phony photo of an empty arena hours before I arrived @ the venue, w/ thousands of people outside, on their way in.” The post included photos of the Pensacola venue as Trump spoke. “Packed house, many people unable to get in. Demand apology & retraction from FAKE NEWS WaPo!” Trump tweeted from his Florida estate, where he was spending the weekend. Weigel apologized within minutes. “Sure thing: I apologize,” Weigel tweeted. Weigel said he deleted the photo after another reporter “told me I’d gotten it wrong.” Trump said in a follow-up tweet that Weigel should be fired. At Friday’s rally, Trump pointed to a CNN correction and other corrections and clarifications by news organizations in the past week on stories that initially had been damaging to the president but didn’t live up to the scrutiny. Here are the President’s tweets. Weigel has yet to comment on the call to be fired. If there’s anything that Donald Trump likes more than being president, being rich and being able to melt liberal snowflakes everywhere, it’s going after the “fake news media.” And the great thing is, they make it so easy. Take The Washington Post, the place where democracy (and factual reportage) has been dying in darkness ever since Janet Cooke was “covering” prepubescent heroin addicts in the early 1980s. They haven’t printed anything quite that fake in recent years, but darned if they haven’t been trying to at least approach Ms. Cooke’s lofty standard of hoaxery. One of those strivers is Dave Weigel, a WaPo reporter who decided to tweet about President Trump’s rally in Pensacola, Florida, on Friday. Given Weigel’s employer, I’m going to guess he doesn’t exactly have a monthly rail pass on the Trump train. On his private Twitter account, Mr. Weigel took a shot at the president, as WaPo reporters are wont to do: There are two things one notices here: 1) Dave Weigel’s ridiculous Twitter avatar makes him look like one of the lesser members of the fictional band Stillwater from Cameron Crowe’s “Almost Famous” and 2) this looks like the crowd from an XFL game. The second point would have been a devastating prospect for Trump. After all, he’s known for his loyal fan base, and if his crowds are being reduced to Jeb Bush-sized affairs, that’s not a good thing. There’s one slightly teeny little problem here, however: The picture, according to Trump, was taken hours before he arrived at the venue. And, as you can see from the photographic evidence the president provided, one tends to believe the commander in chief: Trump said that Weigel “put out a phony photo of an empty arena hours before I arrived @ the venue, w/ thousands of people outside, on their way in. Real photos now shown as I spoke. Packed house, many people unable to get in. Demand apology & retraction from FAKE NEWS WaPo!” Weigel actually did apologize because … well, what was the alternative? He’d already been called out by the president and the U.K. Daily Mail’s U.S. politics editor David Martosko, according to The Hill, which led to the photo’s deletion. Nevertheless, Trump decided apologies weren’t quite going to cut it. Weigel can apologize all he wants, but this is a serious issue. I don’t wish unemployment on Dave Weigel, but let’s put it this way: Were this me and had I done this, I’d be working on my resumé. Either way, he deserved the savage burn he (and his employer) got from President Trump.

It doesn’t seem right to me from the point of view of animals disciplining their offspring. I’ve seen birds get frustrated by their over squawking semi adult children and bite them on the head to pull them in line. Washington Post proves why Trump calls media “enemies of the state” — paper praises ISIS leader killed by U.S. special forces

The Democrat Party activists who pretend to be journalists have so much hatred for President Donald Trump and his supporters they have done all they could to undermine and depose him since before he even took office.

Their behavior has led the president to characterize members of the mainstream media as “enemies of the people.” Naturally, that ticks them off but the characterization couldn’t be more accurate — and the latest organization to prove it is the Washington Post.

On Sunday, the president announced that U.S. Special Forces operators, acting on intelligence, infiltrated a compound in northern Syria where ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was hiding with several of his men.

As our forces cut through his men and cornered him in a one-way corridor, al-Baghdadi blew himself up with a suicide vest he was wearing.

Naturally, the president took the opportunity to not only praise our forces, but take a major swipe at our terrorist enemies. And that was just too much ‘Merica for the anti-American Leftists at the Post.

An obituary by the Post read like a lionization of al-Baghdadi, who led a terrorist organization that slaughtered thousands of people and beheaded every Christian ‘infidel’ they could get their hands on.

And what fawning obituary of a terrorist animal would be complete without burying the worst behavior — like being a serial rapist and keeper of sex slaves? (Related: ISIS terrorists urged to start poisoning grocery food across America with deadly cyanide.)

Guess al-Baghdadi lost his “shyness,” huh?

How “pragmatic” to have several sex slaves instead of just one.

Of course, it wasn’t just the Washington Post that idolized this terrorist. Foreign Left-wing media, like the Times of London, did the same thing. As Zero Hedge reports, that paper described al-Baghdadi this way: “A promising young footballer and a student of the Koran who became a terrorist, mass murderer and the world’s most-wanted man.”

‘Student of the Koran.” That’s a cowardly way of hiding the fact that al-Baghdadi was an Islamic extremist who oversaw the murder of tens of thousands of people just because they did not share his religious views.

The disgustingly positive treatment of al-Baghdadi led to several mocking tweets.

In addition to the mainstream media, it’s become obvious that former President Obama and the sycophants who enabled all of his corruption are just as seditious as the media that protected them.

During an interview Sunday on CNN, network contributor James Clapper, a serial liar and former director of national intelligence, actually suggested that killing al-Baghdadi was going to put the rest of us more at risk because it would ‘inspire’ remaining ISIS fighters, or something stupid like that.

“What is going to be interesting is to the extent to which this negatively affects ISIS or does it galvanize ISIS, the remnants of ISIS, which still survives as an ideology and has franchises in other places besides Syria,” he said.

Unreal.

The biggest enemies to our republic are coming from within. And many of them use their First Amendment right to undermine and destroy the very country that protects more than half the world from authoritarianism and tyranny.

Fake news networks wasted an inordinate amount of time analyzing several handshakes between President Trump and foreign leaders at the G20 meeting, and droning on about the ‘optics’ of the greetings.

CNN led the way, spending most of a segment obsessing over a handshake between German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Trump, and debating who initiated it.

“It is notable that the body language this time, the pictures are up right now, are better and different than perhaps we had seen in the initial meetings between the president and the German chancellor,” said CNN host John Berman.

“Do you get the sense that the White House was preparing for this, cares about the optics of the meeting between these two leaders?” Berman asked correspondent Jeff Zeleny.

“I am told that she initiated the handshake by a pool reporter in the room that she initiated this handshake here, so yes optics always matter in this case, ” Zeleny said.

“I think we probably make more of them now in the age of social media than we used to,” he added. “There are always awkward moments here, but it’s the substance of this meeting. They have so many disagreements, John, that really will be an issue here for these two countries going forward.”

The pair then CONTINUED talking about the handshake, suggesting that Trump was acting undiplomatic.

“Her hand went out first. Outreach. Physical, literal outreach from Germany to the United States,” Berman said.

“But we are in her hometown, her own country, John, so it seems sort of hospitable because she would be someone to do that, so I don’t find that that strange actually,” Zeleny concluded.

The hosts of MSNBC’s Hardball suggested that the exchange between Trump and Merkel was icy because Trump is sexist:

“There also might be a little gender thing. Just saying,” said Washington Post columnist Ruth Marcus, prompting Chris Matthews to agree that “[t]here is a pattern” of behavior with Trump being offensive towards women.

“Look at this? What’s this? The finger-pointing, pointing up and down. What is he up to here? This is cold stuff.” Matthews continued, commentating on the exchange, and then comparing it to the “good relationship” Merkel had with President Obama, and flashing up graphics of the two hugging.

“It is no secret that Merkel, the Chancellor of Germany, had a closer working relationship, as Ruth said with President Barack Obama, seen here at the G-20. Look at them. They’re cuddling. Anyway, well, that was then. This picture today of President Trump and Angela Merkel today tells a different story. That’s a cold picture,” Matthews added.

In a separate incident, fake news anchors blew up an exchange between Trump and Polish President Andrzej Duda, circulating an edited video that appeared to show the Polish leading snubbing Trump’s handshake.

CNN’s Chris Cillizza went apeshit on Twitter, posting a link to the video:

Newsweek posted an all caps shouty headline of “WATCH DONALD TRUMP HANDSHAKE REJECTED BY POLISH FIRST LADY IN HILARIOUSLY AWKWARD EXCHANGE.”

The Washington Post tweeted out that the incident was “super awkward.”

USA Today went with the headline: “Another awkward handshake overseas: President Trump left hanging as Polish first lady greets Melania.”

In reality, the full video reveals that it was not a snub at all:

The outlets were then forced to add an update to their posts clarifying their previous fake news.

CNN’s Cillizza downplayed his earlier freak out:

And then came the Trump/Putin handshake, which included a ‘pat on the back’, which to several fake news reporters, and armies of twitter Democrats obviously meant they are in cahoots.
